John Drenon, O.D.

Locations Served: Sedalia

It should come as no surprise that Dr. John Drenon’s greatest inspiration in the world of optometry is his own father. After Dr. Drenon completed his Doctor of Optometry at the University of Missouri – St. Louis School of Optometry, he returned to his hometown of Sedalia to work in the family practice until his father’s retirement. This gave him a practical and compassionate understanding of how to meet his patients’ needs. He was also one of the early practitioners of fitting contact lenses, and today, Dr. Drenon specializes in fitting contacts, personalizing bifocal eyewear, and providing the attention required to satisfy a wide range of patient needs.

When you’ve seen as many patients as Dr. John Drenon has, you develop an impeccable sense of how best to approach even the most niche cases. Get warm, expertly-tailored eye care today.

DR. DRENON IS SEEING PATIENTS AT OUR SEDALIA OFFICE!

A Sedalia native, Dr. Drenon has a few great loves: his family, the outdoors, and sports. He loves to boat, canoe, fish, and tie flies with his wife, son, daughter, son-in-law, and hopefully soon his granddaughter. He learned plenty about surviving outside on Christmas day, 1971, when Dr. Drenon attended the longest football game in history, between the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Getting the perfect lenses for your vision is a delicate task — and Dr. John Drenon excels at it. See the world more clearly with perfect-fitting standard or specialty contacts.
