Jill McNaughton, O.D.

Dr. Jill McNaughton was inspired to enter optometry by a young woman eye doctor she got to work for during high school. She followed a straight path to her career from there, completing her BS in biology at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and then her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. Dr. McNaughton spent nearly a decade working with multidisciplinary ophthalmologists, which gave her a great deal of experience with medical eye care, and knowledge in virtually all other aspects of eye health. Today, she specializes in pre- and post-surgical eye care, contact lens appointments, and primary eye care for conditions like diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. She values getting to know the whole patient, from their lives to their other medical conditions, and is an old soul who particularly enjoys elderly patients. Dr. McNaughton is a proud member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, Kansas Optometric Association, and Optometric Society of Greater Kansas City.

Get to Know Dr. McNaughton
Dr. McNaughton grew up a Kansas City native and has provided eye care to both Kansas and Missouri. She’s a warm eye doctor who loves spoiling her nieces and nephews, and spending time with her friends, family, and her and her husband’s dog Chloe. In her free time, Dr. McNaughton reads suspense novels and memoirs, and works out with yoga or Zumba. Whenever she gets the chance, she also loves to get outdoors and travel, whether to lakes, mountains, beaches, or unwinding on a nice glamping trip.
